We've had a CRAZY month here at Designer Blogs what with our new site, awesome sale and all! You probably noticed one of our BIGGEST announcements was we now design for WORDPRESS!! (self hosted wordpress.org NOT wordpress.com...we'll explain the difference in another post) wahoo! I'm super excited about this. Wordpress.org is an awesome blogging platform. For those of you unfamiliar with it or interested in switching over from blogger let me introduce you.....
Now that we are all introduced lets dive in! I'm going to be doing a series of tutorials on the basics of Wordpress.org and today's is all about the dashboard ... dun dun dun! No really, its not scary, let me show you...
First you'll login
(we'll talk more about how to install and set up Wordpress in the first place later on,
this is assuming you've already purchased hosting and installed it)
Once you've logged in you'll see something like this.....your dashboard!
Whew! Thats a lot to take in! Just one more thing....

Thank you! I am switching over from blogger to .coms for my websites and using wordpress as the platform. It's a lot harder than blogger but that's probably partly because I have to set up the templates etc. too. I know I've got some big holes in my knowledge though- I'll look forward to this series of posts.
